Received a Ph.D degree from School of Physical Science and Technology, Lanzhou University, China. Dr. Xu is a researcher of Hundred-Talent Program (Chinese Academy of Sciences). His work mainly engaged in the infrared quantum cascade lasers, photonic crystal semiconductor lasers, terahertz semiconductor lasers and surface plasmas and other aspects of the study. Currently, Dr. Xu works as Distinguished Research Fellow of SITTI.
